Must do things in Kyiv

1. WALK AROUND THE CENTRE: Just walk around the pleasing and glamorous streets in the centre;

2. CHECK OUT THE CAFES: Don't miss out the delightful cafes and their delicious food;

3. HISTORY: The history of this city is very beautiful and i think everybody should know about it

Taras Shevchenko Museum
Taras Shevchenko (March 9 1814 – March 10 1861) was a Ukrainian poet, writer, artist, public and political figure, as well as folklorist and
ethnographer. His literary heritage is regarded to be the foundation of modern Ukrainian literature and, to a large extent, the modern
Ukrainian language. Shevchenko is also known for many masterpieces as a painter and an illustrator.

“All has gone to rest,and I don't know whether I'm alive or will live or whether I'm rushing like this through the world for I'm not
longer weeping or laughing”

Kyiv National History Museum
The beautiful museum located in the heart of the city , presents the history of ancient Kyiv until now. The history of Kiev, the largest city
and the capital of Ukraine, is documented as going back at least 1,400 years. According to legend, Kiev was founded by three brothers, Kyi, Shchek and Khoryv, and their sister Lybid. Kiev is named after Kyi, the eldest brother. The third week had a great end and with time
passing by we realise our time to get back home is coming by so quick. Much love to this heavenly place. DO VISIT!!!!!!
Golden gate
The Golden Gates of Kiev was the main gate in the 11th-century fortifications of Kiev, the capital of Kievan Rus'. It was named in
imitation of the Golden Gate of Constantinople. The structure was dismantled in the Middle Ages, leaving few vestiges of its existence. It
was completely rebuilt by the Soviet authorities in 1982, though no images of the original gates have survived. This decision has been
immensely controversial, since there are many competing reconstructions of what the medieval gate might have looked like.
